Spend a creative day weaving your very own willow bird sculpture.
This is one of my most popular sculpture courses, and a wonderful opportunity to learn how to create a beautiful three-dimensional bird using traditional willow weaving techniques.
You'll have a choice of hen, cockerel, curlew, heron, duck or pheasant to make, I'll guide you through the process, from building the initial framework through to completing your finished sculpture.
The course is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some previous willow weaving experience. I'll demonstrate each stage and there will be plenty of help and guidance throughout the day, so you can work at your own pace.
A willow bird makes a lovely addition to the garden, bringing a little character and movement to a border, lawn or wildlife area and, of course, it will last for years as the willow weathers naturally.
Come on your own or bring a friend and enjoy a satisfying day of creativity, learning and making something truly special.
