FAQ's
Where do the workshops take place?
I offer a range of courses both online and in person. The course location will be listed with each course on my In person workshops page.
Browse my collection of online courses here.
I also have a selection of free tutorials on YouTube. Find those here.
What if I can’t pay for my course all at once?
For my in person workshops you can choose to pay in full at the time of booking or for two day courses you can opt for a deposit payment.
If you choose the deposit option, you’ll need to return and pay the balance to complete your booking before the workshop date.
Can I attend an advanced workshop if I’ve never woven before?
While I welcome beginners to my workshops, I recommend attending a few beginner courses before signing up for an advanced workshop. My advanced courses are designed for those who have some previous weaving experience and are looking for a greater challenge. If you’re new to weaving or haven’t woven in a while, I suggest starting with our Beginner Willow Weaving Workshops to build your skills first.
Note: Everyone’s learning pace is different, so it’s important to get comfortable with the basics before jumping into advanced techniques.
Do I need any prior experience to join a beginner workshop?
Not at all! My beginner workshops are perfect for anyone who has never woven before or is looking to revisit the foundational techniques. You'll be guided step-by-step to make your first basket or weaving project.
Note: To do any kind of weaving course, you do need some hand strength and dexteriy.

If the gift voucher doesn’t cover the full amount of your order, you can pay the balance via your preferred payment method.

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule my booking?
I understand that things can change! However, due to the small group sizes of my workshops, I have a strict cancellation policy. Here's how it works:
- 6 Months or More in Advance: You can cancel for a full refund, minus a £25 administration fee, or transfer to another course of the same value.
- 3 Months in Advance: You can cancel for a 50% refund or transfer to another course of equal value.
- Less Than 28 Days: Unfortunately, cancellations within 28 days of the course start date are non-refundable, and transfers are not permitted.
If you need to reschedule, you can transfer your booking once per original reservation as long as you notify me within the allowed timeframe (see above).
