Join me for a day of willow sculpture at the beautiful Yorkshire Sculpture Park, where you'll learn how to weave your own willow hare.
This is my longest-running and most popular sculpture course, which I've been teaching for over 15 years. It's a lovely introduction to working with willow and a chance to create your own characterful three-dimensional sculpture using traditional weaving techniques.
I'll guide you through the process, from creating the initial framework through to the finished hare. The day is relaxed and friendly, with plenty of individual help and guidance along the way.
The course is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some previous willow weaving experience, so there's no need to have woven before.
And what better place to spend a day making a willow sculpture than Yorkshire Sculpture Park, surrounded by worldclass art, sculpture and beautiful Yorkshire countryside.
