This is a one of a kind, unique oval shopping basket in Dickie Meadows Willow selected from the finest quality English grown willows.

I really enjoyed making this one. I love the shape and the smell of Dickie Meadows, one of my favorite Willows to work with. I’ve added a few woven embelishments around the handle too and this basket comes up slightly at both ends adding interest to the shape.

It’s quite a deep basket without being too big making it ideal for market shopping, a picnic or collectioning produce from the garden. This is a unique piece that will look stylish when in use and while hung up waiting for its next outing.
